Unexpected Treasures

Last week I found this book and card on my desk. I am pretty lucky to work with some amazing people. The longer I live the more I realize that people are put in our path to teach us something. Sometimes the lesson is for you, and sometimes the lesson is for the other person. Either way hopefully we can look at each act of kindness as an opportunity to “pay it forward”.

I am currently having a great time at our new office in VA. Updates to follow next week when I return home.

Tahoe June 2012

We usually head to Tahoe the week before school starts.  This year my boys are spending the summer in Utah with their dad so we decided to head up prior to them leaving.  We hit all the usual spots and loved every minute of hanging out, hiking, relaxing at the beach and breakfast at our favorite local café.

Cam always picks flowers for me when he sees them. Such a sweetie!

I have a pic of the boys in this exact spot from 2006.  They have changed just a bit since then.
