On superbowl sunday we went over to my friends Sherri's house for a superbowl party. Sherri owns one of those bounce houses that you see at kids birthday parties. Every time we have a BBQ or a get together at Sherri's she pulls it out. Well the kids were out bouncing and Cameron fell onto Tony and hit his eye on Tony's knee. This was the result the next morning.
Cameron's eye was swollen shut and purple/black. It was swollen past the bridge of his nose if you can imagine. After showing my mom a couple of the pictues she suggested that I call the doctor. The doctor said that where he hit is one of the most sensitive parts of the eye (on the upper eye bone). He had me pry Cameron's eye open to verify that there was no blood in the color part of his eye and that there was no puss coming out of it. Luckily this was the case and we were able to keep a cold compress on his eye. Cameron's favorite part was the fact tat he got to tell everyone that his mom put food on his eye...frozed peas, frozed rasberries. What ever I could find. He found this very odd.
After a week his eye was back to normal but he does seem to have a goose egg still on his eyebrow bone.
He thought that the best part was the fact that he got to stay home with Mom all day and Mom didn't even have to work.
